10:30 - 16:30, includes buffet lunch Level 2 workshop with John Clements Moving on from the aspects covered in our level 1 workshop or for those already familiar with those concepts, we now take a more detailed look at the practical use of these exciting cameras. We target the cameras at specific types of photography in more detail and delegates will on the day be able to use their cameras in a variety of situations from portraits to fashion to still-life use, all with Johns guidance to create professional level imagery. Other subjects such as landscape and travel will also be discussed and considered. Creative options are taken further with long exposure and multiple exposure capabilities for example, but we do not forget the need to extract as much as we can from tools such as the histogram as we now look at maximizing its RGB components individually. Shooting with Nikon NEF raw files is a must, as are the ‘live view' capabilities. The day is simply packed with useful information. Some key areas covered include: Practical photography based on specific types of subject Maximising histogram feedback Creative long exposure techniques Multiple exposure options Fine tuning exposure and metering Working with Raw files General photography advice from an acknowledged digital imaging expert and working photographer Producing pro quality work
